Nicola works for Grain Photography Network as a Producer, Curator, Project Manager, Mentor and Consultant. They specialises in photography, commissioning, exhibitions, the public realm and socially engaged practice. The grain network are currently interested in projects that explore representation, identity, communities and engagement. They offer a lot of support for up and coming new photographers. They provide project management, production, commissioning, research and consultancy services, Whilst working with a range of artists, organisations, museums, galleries and libraries. It was interesting hearing someone talk about photography whom isn't actually a photographer. She had a true passion for art especially photographs and it was lovely to see. Her passion came from the different photographers that they at Grain work with. She learnt the ins and outs of the photographers project and helped guid them towards their final goals of exhibiting their work. She was a delight to listen to and her passion for photographer is something I'll never forget.
